Varar Vaalmonican Concord cancel invocation effect is not working properly

  1. Bug description
When I have Varar, Vaalmonican Concord on my field, and I have more than 3 resonance counters, I should be able to negate any special summon the opponent’s do, but for the moment, the prompt only shows when the opponent summon from the extra deck

  2. Bug reproduction steps

  • Have Varar Vaalmonican Concord on your side of the field
  • Have 3+ resonence counter on your side of the field
  • Opponent special summon any monster from deck or hand
  • Prompt to cancel the summoning should appear, does not
  1. Screenshot OR error code
Not really possible to screenshot this interaction

  2. Expected behavior
The prompt should have popped when the opponent special summon and I should have been able to cancel the summoning

  3. What OS are you using
Windows 10 but also occurs on Android

The only summons that Varar can negate is a summon that does not start a chain, or occurs outside of a chain. It works similar to Solemn Judgment, and this is because a summon that occurs within a chain that is resolving cannot be responded to, since you cannot activate cards/effects while a chain is resolving.

An example of some types of summons you can negate with Varar are most Extra Deck summons, as well as summons from the hand or GY that do not start a chain (Kashtira Fenrir, Diabellstar, The Bystial Lubellion, etc.)
