    You are unable to tribute XYZ monsters with the nouvelles ritual spell.

Activate Nouvelles ritual spell with an XYZ monster on field and see you are unable to tribute it.

    The xyz monsters have a level so they should be able to be tributed.

Bro, xyz monsters don’t have levels. They have ranks. That’s like one of the basic things that differentiate them from other monster card types
