Hello, I am currently laddering with Labrynth, and I’ve had a very persistent issue with Trap Trick. Sometimes I am able to stop my opponent without using it, which means I try to use Trap Trick for engine in the EP, but instead of stopping in the EP it just goes straight to DP, putting me at a huge tempo loss.
Ensure that you are using the ON Chain setting so that you are checked every time an event in game happens.
Also check to make sure that you have a valid target in deck. If you do not have 2 copies of a normal trap in the deck, you are not allowed to activate Trap Trick. Additionally, if you are not allowed to banish cards, you will end up not being allowed to use Trap Trick.
More specifically, do you have a replay where this occurred where you wished to activate Trap Trick. This would help us to ensure that there is no ruling that you are running into in which you are not aware of in the moment.

I am pretty sure this is happening specifically with Trap Trick, I’m not sure if I always get to ON the prio promt, but I am not having this issue with Welcome or Big Welcome. I know it is a legal activation because I then just activate it in my turn instead.
