Solo deck testing in manual mode still unsupported

  1. Bug description
Honestly baffled that this bug still exists. Manual mode still unplayable by a solo player. This means testing a deck by yourself is impossible with manual mode. How this bug exists still and dev team thinks its perfectly acceptable is beyond me. But the hilarious part is that work was done to add a “manual test” bot, so clearly, dev intent is for solo players to be allowed to test. They just don’t get how their own system works I guess.

  2. Bug reproduction steps

  • Start Manual Mode
  • Choose Manual Test Bot because you want to test your deck
  • when game starts, use any of the 20,000 cards that require you to search your deck
  • Click “view deck”
—> Observe that nothing happens and you are unable to test your deck
  1. Screenshot OR error code

  2. Expected behavior
As a solo tester, I should be able to view my deck. By the way, you see this right here?

^^^^^^^^^^ was a complete waste of development time because noone can actually use the “manual test” bot, because it doesn’t work. A year later after I reported this.

The explanation was a technical one, “oh yeah well the opponent has to verify that you can look at your deck”. Cool story bro, you implemented a feature, and the feature blocks the player from playing the game. Good job.

  1. What OS are you using
    [Windows-10 / Linux / Android]

Hello

Thank you for making a bug report.

The “view deck” button sends a request to the opponent to allow you to view your deck. The manual bot automatically agrees to these requests. Once you have sent the request, double click the deck to open it and view the deck and alter its contents.

Thank you for helping to make YGO Omega be the best it can be.
