Machina Ruinforce / Machina Fortress bug

   You are unable to summon Machina Fortress from hand when using Machina Ruinforce. The game says that you’ve selected more than the sum of eight and won’t let you continue.

   Just have machina fortress and ruinforce in hand as the only machines and attempt to using machina fortress eff to summon itself.

Thank you for making a bug report.

Similar to Ritual summoning, you cannot continue to tribute monsters once you have met the requirement. This means you cannot send fortress, which is a level 7, and (2) level 1 monsters, as you meet the requirement with just 1 of the level 1s.

Since Ruinforce meets the requirement on its own, you cannot send Fortress in addition to ruinforce. You can achieve what you are looking for by simply using Ruinforce as demonstrated by this replay.
