Double Deck format not working!

When choosing the Double Deck format from the Extra Rules and selecting two decks that form exactly 100 cards in the Main Deck and 30 or less cards in the Extra Deck, a message appears saying “Invalid amount of Cards” and won’t let me start the duel.

I have the same issue. Exported my decks to my clipboard if that helps. I avoided TCG or OCG specific cards, TCG banned cards, avoided duplicating cards across decks, emptied the side decks, and they match 50+50 = 100 for the main deck. I don’t know if you could add a leniency where the sum of the decks doesn’t matter just as a suggestion, though I do recognize that you might not be wanting to diverge too much from the actual established formats. It would be nice to figure out if there are more conditions than simply adding to 100 in the main deck, though.

Disabling Deck Checking stops the deck selection screen from marking out invalid decks, but it still won’t let me play with the two decks.

Yeah, same here.

If you set the prest to TCG it seems to work. I don’t know why the banlist and the card pool make the difference, but you can try and see if it works. Make sure your deck is valid too.

Nevermind, it got rid of double deck as a setting. Apparently even two TCG valid decks on TCG settings that add to exactly 100 in the main decks does not allow me to play double deck. I don’t even know what to look for when the preset is given as TCG format and I just want to enable a TCG alternative option.

If you want a replay of the issue, take the two decks I’ve given and use the TCG preset. There you can verify that the decks are legal, and you can look at them. They are 50 cards apiece in the main deck. The you can enable double deck as a setting and it only allows you to select one deck. Is there a confirm where I can confirm a deck before choosing another?

Ohhh I Remembered. Both decks must add exactly to 100 cards in main deck. If after selecting the first deck, the second deck is not allowing you to select any - then it means the second deck has too little or too much cards to add to 100.

I’ve left copies of the two decks I’ve been trying to use, and I am organizing my decks as meant for double where each deck has 50 cards in main. It’s not even a question of if my main decks add to 100,

I’ve specifically created 50 card decks for the purpose of being able to use the double deck format, and they still aren’t allowed. Somehow there is another restriction and I have no way of figuring it out. You can test my decks, and maybe they work for you, in which case my account is specifically experiencing a bug.

The issue is @dimi4a seems to have the same issue so I am not an isolated case. My friend that I play with also can’t get double deck working. If someone who can successfully play the double deck format would drop in with a copy of decks that work and the settings to use when hosting, I’m sure we could figure out why I can’t play.

But the issue isn’t whether or not my decks add to exactly 100 cards, I’ve explained the steps I’ve went through to set up a generic lobby where the only difference is double deck and I still can’t get a green light.

It seems that the Double Deck format itself doesn’t work, regardless of the exact number of cards in both decks or regardless of TCG or OCG cards used in those decks. The developers need to have their say in this.

After the latest update the Double Deck format is FINALLY working!
