[Casual TCG online] Chain Energy not triggering when opponent normal, special summons, and ignores some spells

Chain energy fails to trigger when opponents normal summon or special summon from extra deck, and often doesn’t trigger when opponents play a spell straight to the field.

Sorry if I’m missing something here, but I believe this card is partially broken. It does function normally against the AI, but online seems hit or miss when it decides it wants to function normally.

Do you have a replay?

Chain energy does not require you to pay for special summons unless theyre special summoned from the hand.

Just went through the replay and I believe you’re right. Hadn’t noticed the spell had been set prior, and summons were from deck and extra deck rather than from the hand.

Sorry guys, made a mistake.
