Can't connect to online

I click on “Online” but the screen stays frozen on the loading screen(?).

There is no error on your log. So we have to go through the steps here:

  1. Firewall - add exception
  2. Anti-virus - add exception
  3. Router firewall - add exception (if your router contains a firewall)
  4. Folder permissions - If the game can’t access your %userprofile%\AppData folder from where it is, then it won’t connect.

Firewall - made an exception for it, still didn’t work
Anti-virus - gave the app exception
Router firewall - no issue there
Folder Permissions - gave it full control but nothing

all right i have the same error.
so… i put all folders to firewall exception and antivirus exception.
router by default don’t have firewall activated.
folder permissions, i use a app called TakeOwnershipPro to give full acces to localLow
and not work.
i unistalled all and re installed all, still don’t work for me.

Check other third party programs or anything that might block your network. Do Windows update to make sure everything is up to date.

windows is up to date. No other program appears to blocking anything. I’ll continue looking though

I did come to find out that YGO Omega doesn’t appear on my desktop outside of the actual desktop. All functions that let me see what I have on my desktop, doesn’t have Omega on it, but everything else is there.

Try opening YGO Omega as administrator.

There’s no errors in this log. Kunogi will push a new update that will change the log to help users with connection issues.

You can try one thing which is to try it on another network (not your own wifi), but something else. If that doesn’t work, try on another machine. And if either of those two solutions work, then the first one shows it’s a network block and the second shows that something on the machine like a third party software blocking.

I’ll see if I can find another network to work with, but another machine isn’t possible. I spent all my money and then some for this laptop, still in debt because of it and have more than once thought of selling it. I don’t have another machine to run this on. No other family member has a PC to lend me either. I am trying to save enough money to build my own PC but that’s a months away from being complete. So really banking this next update works or my network is to blame.

Also, another idea is to delete this folder which downloads the game files:

%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Unity\Duelists Unite_YGO Omega

This folder is not deleted automatically from the uninstaller. You could have corrupted bundles that prevent you from connecting.

Tried another network, still didn’t work. Deleted the file, opened the app, it brings it back.

Just to update this issue. The user is using a mac and running windows in parallel using VM. Hence, we will revisit this issue again and give the user the mac build later.
