Yeah I have something similar IRL but I just wanted to make the simplest deck possible but realize now I was going against the intended effect of the card; thinking that when it said “Discard from your hand” it just meant generalized any discard. I hope they reprint it and give it a bit more love for the card effect and say "Discard from your hand (not including for cost) haha.
Dang that means guarded treasure won’t work either.
