As @Cryomaniac implied, there is a contradiction with this Link Monster’s material text and the Link Summoning procedure: Link Materials cannot be facedown, yet the Link Monster in question asks for a monster which could be facedown. Regardless, the Link Summoning rules take precedence, unless specified, so you’ll need to flip your monster by a card effect or battle before you’ll be able to use it as Link Material for this Link Summon.
