The bug will continue to persist if you test using the local or Test hand features. The code fix is live on the Online portion of the game.
If you wish to test using the online portion, please host a game, and then invite the bot to the room using the appropriate buttons. I have confirmed that Beyond the Pendulum works appropriately online!
